There are 2 or three others Summagraphics and Kurta and one other that may be advertised in that issue. I cant say much about comparisons but I have a bottom of the line Kurta-- I use it recreationally and it suits my needs and budget. I dont think the model I have would be useful for Professional Quality work but Kurta makes about 4 other models -- higher res with extra features, more expensive too, of course.
