Someone really *does* read articles! :) Ok, the Amiga 500 Portable: John Preston, a certified developer for Commodore, has built an Amiga 500 Portable. The system consists of: A500 motherboard with the A501. A CSA MegaMidgetRacer running at 33MHz w/o FPU. Has the optional 32bit ram board with 2 megs and the 512k static ram board. A Kronos HD controller card. A Maxtor LXT-200 HD. This is all installed in a Compaq portable computer case. Thus, he uses the ole' green-screen (in it's glorious 16 shades of green) and the native power supply. It's pretty fun to see the stunned look on people's faces when John breaks out this system.
