Two friends who have the Atari ST version of Dungeon Master have found
an axe called HARDCLEAVE. In the Amiga version I have not found it and
would be interrested if anyone with the Amiga version has. I am mainly
curious if the two versions differ in this respect since I have been
exploring and mapping pretty thoroughly.

Yep, I've found it, it's a pretty cool weapon I belive that it is on the 5th level, first you have to find a button that opens up a secret passage to find the shield of Lityre (sp?), in that small alcove there is a button that will open up the alcove where the Hardcleave is located. BTW I've solved it, but I haven't found a few things yet, like where is the key to get to into the 14th level from the long stairway? -Rick

The HARDCLEAVE is there. It's in the room with the Scorpions, well hidden.

I have retrieved the firestaff, power gem and killed the dragon. Now, I am locked in the 13th and 14th levels of the dungeon. How do I get out of the dungeon ?

The following is being posted for a friend - Please email any responses and I will forward them to him. --------------- I am presently at Level 9 in DungeonMaster. I have encountered a creature I do not know how to kill - Everything I've tried has failed. Spells, weapons, etc. Some characteristics of this creature are: It appears & dissappears, has a glowing orb at the head and tentacles that come down, fires lighting bolts and fireballs and has killed me numerous times.
