[Eat this] I've been using EA's Deluxe Video III for a while now, and I've had a nagging problem trying to load in music. DVIII wants music in SMUS format, but most of the SMUS files I have won't load in at all. These are typically Sonix files, with custom instruments for each song. The only music I've been able to load has been stuff converted to SMUS by Deluxe Music. This is a pain, because (1) DMCS does a lousy job of converting its files to SMUS; either the conversion routine or SMUS format is lousy, because the songs really sound much poorer; and (2) most of the really good music I have is in Sonix/SMUS format. Can anyone suggest a workaround here? Is there some way to make the Sonix/SMUS stuff more compatible with DVIII? -Brian Brian Pelletier, Hardware guy | Disclaimer: These are MY opinions, not SKY's.
