[comp.sys.amiga] Re^2: Thank you C= Folks!!!

First, since is article is titled "Thanks CBM folks!", I'd like to add
my $.02 and says thank you also. I'm especially appreciative of the
work that went into my new computer, the A3000. Getting the 3000 out the
door must have been much hard work, and I salute you all for a job well done!

In article <16427@cbmvax.commodore.com>, Dave Haynie writes:

What's this? A new car?! Is Commodore over-paying their employees now! ;-) ;-)
Where do I apply?!

Seriously, I know what you mean. When my 5.0L Mustang hit the 500 mile mark
(the owner's manual says 500 minimum and recommends 1000) it hit 140 MPH at
about 4800 RPM. That's just the bottom edge of the "Yellow Zone" on the tach.
The burst was exhilirating (sp?) but quite scary also... Of course, given the
opportunity of 150 miles of barren roadway I'd do it again! :-) :-)

So what kinda' car did you get?

>Dave Haynie Commodore-Amiga (Amiga 3000) "The Crew That Never Rests"

P.S. GTE in Tampa is evaluating using the Amiga 3000UX in-house for development
work. I probably shouldn't say that, so consider this just a rumour ;-)
