[comp.sys.amiga] Amiga Genlock

I'm using an Amiga Genlock as a Head_Up_Display for a remotely piloted vehicle,
but it's not working too well. The sync levels from the camera on board the
vehicle work just fine with my TV set, but the Genlock has a really having a
hard time syncing up. I saw a lot of improvement when I added DC-level
restoration to the input, but the HUD still tears and smears. Any ideas
what I can do to either fix the input signal (a sync rebuilder, but it
would have to work on _both_ horizontal and vertical sync), fix the
Genlock (I'm good with hardware, but I don't really own the Genlock),
or replace the whole shooting match with another kind of genlock that
would do a better job? Heck, I'm almost tempted to replace the whole
shooting match with a standalone overlay generator....

Many thanks in advance for any ideas!

I am about to purchase an 8mm camcorder and I am interested in finding
a genlock to use for titling and stuff using my Amiga 1000. I don't want
to shell out lots of money (because I'm doing that for the camcorder) and
I just want basic genlock ability. The only perk that I would like to have,
that isn't essential to my needs but would be nice, is the ability to fade/
alter the transparency of the genlocked image with respect to the video.

If any of the people who have advertised genlocks still have one available,
or if anyone has one they want to part with, please let me know.
