There was recent recommendation from someone at cbmvax (sorry, forgot
the name) that performance of a bridgeboard aboot virtual drive could
be nominally improved by setting addbuffers to 400 or so on the
partition that contains the aboot file.
My question is: If I set the mountlist parameter for buffers to 400
will I get the same effect? I understand that addbuffers is limited
to chip ram whereas I can specify the memory type used in buffers.
Correct? Other than that, are they the same thing?
Thanks!
