I had heard some time ago that Lotus was going to release a version of 123 for the Amiga; however, yesterday I read in AmigaWorld that Lotus is not going to do this. Does anyone have anymore information? Please do not respond by saying that we don't need Lotus. Be rational, Lotus 123 is the standard spreadsheet, and if you don't beleive it look in most major compaines, the spreadsheet used is 123. If you have any info please E-mail it to AXN100@PSUVM.PSU.EDU. Thanks Ajai

Seems like everytime we hit a 1 million mark in terms of machines sold, Lotus, Microsoft, and DBase all say they are looking at doing an Amiga version of their software. I'll believe it when I see it. Last I heard, Lotus told Commodore that they wouldn't do 1-2-3 for the Amiga without some advance payments from Commodore in case it didn't sell well. Commodore balked, but is said to be negotiating. Thats the last I heard, the validity of the statement is unknown. -Moriland -- /\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\ "As if things weren't bad enough already...."| Founder of: "Evil Young Please excuse my ramblings as they come from | Mutants For A Better Tommorow. a diseased mind. -Moriland | hastoerm@vela.acs.oakland.edu

With the courts decision yesterday that Ashton Tate does not own the DBASE language, one could perfectly emulate DBASEIII and IV's internal language, then wrap a Intuition interface around it.
