Hi, I am going to be moving to Raleigh, NC soon and I wanted to get in touvh with a few other amiga users in the area. Can anyone suggest good software and hardware outlets? If you are into software development & technically oriented meetings,
then ASDF (Amiga Software Developer's Forum) is the place to be.
We meet 2nd Saturday of each month, about 11:00 AM, at the Providence

There *was* a more nontechnically oriented group called "AURA"
(Amiga Users of the Raleigh Area), but that has died. We at
ASDF are working to come up with a replacement (tentatively
dubbed "TRACE" for TRiangle Amiga Computer Enthusiasts),
but plans for that are not finalized. Our main obstacle to
that is finding a meeting place [anyone got any suggestions?].
BBS's et al I'm not sure about offhand, but I'm sure you can get
that info from many of the people at ASDF.
Good hardware and software outlets? ....
err .... uhh .... eh ... well, that could be a problem :-| ...
we're sort of short of anything that most people would consider
'good'. Several places selling software, hardly anybody
selling hardware, unless you include places like
Software City or B. Dalton's "Software Etc". These can sell
you some basic things (like maybe an A500) but they're not
comprehensive dealers last I checked.
