I cannot get Imagine to make anim format animations. I have tried this on 3 different Amiga 3000's (under 2.0). Each machine has 2MB chip ram AND 6MB fast ram. When I chose anim format, then click make, it goes through several requestors about whether I want a looping anim and whether to delete pictures, then I get the error "cannot create anim file". I was able to make a Imagine format animation with the same scene, but it wouldn't do an anim format. Does anyone know why this won't work? Has anyone successfully made an anim format animation? ============================================================================== \ / \ \ / / Sean Schur \ \ / / \ \/ / USENET: schur@isi.edu \ /a\mpyr/ Compuserve: 70731,1102 \/ \ / ideo Plink: OSS259 \/ ==============================================================================

If there is already a file called anim in the .pix directory, the program will give that response. Just delete or rename the anim file and it will create the anim. (Both types of animation are given the "anim" filename so the first must be relocated or renamed to make room for the second). Rick Tillery (drtiller@uokmax.ecn.uoknor.edu)
