I am having an interesting problem with my 1950. I am not quite sure how to describe it (it is easier seen than explained), but here is my attempt: When using a program that has an all black background, the black background will not remain a "solid" black, It keeps changing between black and a light black at a non-constant rate. If you look closely at the screen you can see grey lines that are close to being horizontal but not quite and are spaced about 3/4ths of an inch apart. The problem can be minimized by turning the contrast all the way up and maximized by turning the contrast all the way down. All in all the problem becomes very annoying, somewhat like being in a room with some idiot moving the dimmer switch for all the lights back and forth at a fast, non-constant rate. Oh, it happens on all screens, not just black ones. It is just most noticeable on the black ones. (like VLT) I was wondering if there is anything I can do about this problem myself or if I should take the monitor to a dealer? It is not a jitter problem, and I have spents hours adjusting the little screw in back to make sure. Mail responses would be much appreciated. Richard McGowen
