[Bah Lineater!]
Just a bit more info on the Xetec CDROM & a couple questions.
According to Xetec, the CD-650x is shipping.
In a XetecBBS message, Xetec-Dave says:
|
| As for the controllers, I know the following work:
| Xetec controllers
| GVP controllers w/FastROMs installed
| Commodore A2091
| Amiga 3000
| ICD AdSCSI and AdSCSI w/hardframe
|
| Those that do not work :
| C.Ltd controllers
| Commodore A2090
| Commodore A2090a
|
Otherwise, Xetec is also now selling the MOx-600; a 600 Meg, SCSI
magneto-optical drive. Let's see, now it's Active Circuits, GVP & Xetec.
Oh yeah, anybody else notice that Hypermedia Concepts has a Fred Fish CD
available. See the Fall/90-Winter/91 Amazing Guide, Page 177.
So, anybody got the Xetec CD-650x yet? Want to do a report?
Is it my imagination or are these guys shy about releasing programming
information?
-harvey
PS.
I have no connection with Xetec, except as a potential customer. If you
want more info, call them [Xetec BBS (913)827-1974].
