[comp.sys.amiga] CBM Ethernet cards

jerry@truevision.com (Jerry Thompson) (12/20/90)

Apologies to all you NeXT owners out there for injecting Amiga stuff into
this newsgroup.

Does anyone have any info on the ethernet card from Commodore? I need to
access our network and be able to save everything which scrolls across
the screen. Will I be able to use a console replacement which will allow
me to do that or does the AS225 software VT100 terminal do this? And...
does the A2065 come with ANY software or do you HAVE to get the AS225?
Thanks bunches,

The A2065 does not come with software. The AS225 has not yet been released,
but should be "real soon now". I am using Decnet protocol with software from
Syndesis. Vlt works with the terminal device provided by Sydesis. It can save
stuff that appears on your terminal.

Does it even have something along the lines of socket.library? That would
at least allow people to program it on their own?
