Mucho deleted... > >rascal is rascal.ics.utexas.edu sumex is sumex-aim.stanford.edu >for those who came in in the middle. > One question: Assuming I know how to BITFTP and from which sites I can get data, how do I get info on where on the FTP machine the files are? And how do I know which files are there? When you run ftp interactivly it's not so bothersome to ls /pub, see what's there and search on. To do the same with BITFTP requires several mail's (and days). Are there any standard commands to get info on ftp-able files or any other information? Is there any standard directory structure? Is it cold where You live? Thanks in advance, Tommy Petersson etxtomp@eos.ericsson.se
