[comp.sys.amiga] Bug in MrBackup -- Was there one?

   About a month ago, there was a thread regarding some possible
problems with MrBackup 4.0b.  What exactly was the problem, and have
there been any updates recently?

   Any information would be great, as MrBAckup seems to about the best
backup program in the PD...

I didn't read the thread about MrBackup4.0b for bugs,
but one bug, which I discussed with the author over the
phone is when using compression, it mangles certain types of
IFF files, when you resore them. He was going to use a
different type of compression, and then possibly go commercial!
I have not heard from him in a month.
