Hello everyone. This is to announce the return of the Amiga-UUCP mailing list. As many of you know, this list fizzled previously due to a change of location. Also, previous versions of Amiga-uucp queued independant copies of a single message which had multiple destinations, making it unwieldy for large lists. There will be two mailing lists created, 'amiga-uucp' and 'amiga-uucp-patches'. The second list will be a subset of the first. emailing your request to: amiga-uucp-request@overload.Berkeley.CA.US will result in being added to the main discussion list. This list is meant for questions, comments, and general discussion of amiga-uucp. If you wish to also be in on (possibly large) patches, distributions, and other hacks that various people submit, please email your request to: amiga-uucp-patches-request@overload.Berkeley.CA.US This puts you on BOTH lists. NOTE that since amiga-uucp-patches is a subset of amiga-uucp, sendmail email to amiga-uucp will automatically send mail to everyone on the list. NEVER SEND A MESSAGE TO BOTH ALIASES. The amiga-uucp-patches group is meant for comments, source code & binary postings (uuencoded), and general discussion pertaining to specific HACKS, FIXES, OR ADDITIONS to AmigaUUCP. Other discussion should go to the amiga-uucp alias. Once you are on the mailing list simply email one of the two aliases to send your message to the group. Note that the message will be echod back to and from this you can get a pretty good guess of the propogation delay (it will be usually around 4 days, this is a laid back group). amiga-uucp@overload.Berkeley.CA.US amiga-uucp-patches@overload.Berkeley.CA.US Thank you, -Matt -- Matthew Dillon dillon@Overload.Berkeley.CA.US 891 Regal Rd. uunet.uu.net!overload!dillon Berkeley, Ca. 94708 USA
