I have the following system: Amiga 2500/20 (No frills) External 50 Meg SCSI hard drive The SCSI drive has a cable that can plug into the back of the A2090A on the 2500. What I want to do is plug the drive into the 2090A card and use the drive w/o formatting it, as it has files that I still want to use. The SCSI drive was used with a 1000 (no autoboot partition on the drive; just an old file system partition and an FFS partition). I plugged it to the 2090A, and changed the mountlist so that the partition names did not conflict with the partitions already configured on the 2500, but it didn't work. I could mount the partition, but when I tried to access it, DOS said that it couldn't find the volume. What can I be doing wrong, provided that it is possible to do.
