Well, the cold axe of layoffs has struck Pixar and I'm one of the victims... But the bad news for me is good news for you! I'm selling my Alphanetics 2 meg memory board for the A1000. This board was designed by Pacific Periphials (that's what I was told) and is a fully autoconfig, 2 megabyte board. There is no buss pass-through, so it will have to be the last peripherial on the line. It works with every configuration that I've tried except for the LUCAS board (never did figure out why...) The memory chips are Micron 256K ZIP chips that are directly soldered into the board. All these features for an unheard of price of only.... $450. Since this is my last day at Pixar (and temporarily on the net), please call me at home at (415)887-1130 or leave a message on AMIC BBS (707)579-0523. George Buce (8{> (formerely ucbvax!pixar!gbuce) Disclaimer: Well, so sorry, but my views don't represent my company's views. Of course, I don't work here anymore, but that's a minor technicality...

I have three Commodore 2 Meg RAM boards for sale. 2 of them have sockets soldered in place while the third does not. One of the is fully populated with 2 Meg of 1M x 8 DRAM. These are the same DRAM that were in my Startboard II before I sold it. This board worked in my 2000 for a while but seemed to act flaky in some cases so I cant gauruntee that it will work. I know that the RAM at least is OK. I will sell all three boards and the RAM for $75. You can reach me at home @ 415-326-7539
