[comp.sys.amiga] A3000 video to VHS-VCR

kws1x@krebs.acc.Virginia.EDU (Kenneth W. Smith Jr) (01/03/91)

	Hello once more, Netland!
The question I have this time is hopefully a relatively simple
one. Will the A520 (right number? It's getting more difficult to keep
track these days...), the modulator that allows the A500 to output video
to the television, work with the A3000? As it is now, I have no way to
output the A3000's video directly to vcr, and I would like to do so.
If this won't work, is there another, hopefully inexpensive, way to do this?
(Yes, I WOULD love a Toaster, but the A3000 has yet to be cleared from
my various credit cards.....:) Any help would be appreciated.

	Thanx in advance,

	K W Smith, Jr.

Yes, you have the right number. And yes, it works with the A3000. I've
got a Samsung multisync as my primary monitor on the VGA video port,
and a A520 with a "compositive video splitter" attached to a 1080
(newly refurbished by CBM) and an AMDEK video-300A attached to the CBM
RGB port. The latter two get used to check imagery in monochrome and
interlaced mode.

Has anyone managed to hook up the composite video from a VCR directly
to a Multi Scanning Monitor ?? This "compositie video splitter" sounds
like it might help ? Any Ideas ?
