I've just found a 'feature' in WBv1.3 that I've never seen before. This naturally (and egotistically) lead me to belive that I've discovered this harmless bug in Workbench v1.3. Here's how to invoke this unnatural behavior.. (btw- You'll probably want to have at least 2 floppies for this) Click a disk icon and hold that left mouse button down to keep the icon on you pointer, now insert a disk into your second floppy drive. When the pointer goes to zz let the left mouse button go, when the zz pointer goes away that disk icon will stick to your pointer like glue until you click again (or if you have a sunmouse on and auto-activate a window). I know about most of the neat crashola bugs (window dragging) and prefs messages but have never seen hide nor hair (or hare?) of this one. Please don't laugh too hard if this is an old one! -- UUCP: crash!pro-graphics!critical.mass | Critical Mass Software ARPA/DDN: pro-graphics!critical.mass@nosc.mil | P.O. Here's how to invoke this unnatural ^^^^^^^^ Try this trick, but try using the front-back gadgets when the disk icon is still stuck to your pointer. I did and got a lock-up; no guru, just total lock-up. I had to reboot. This is far from harmless if you aren't careful about saving work, etc. >Click a disk icon and hold that left mouse button down to keep the icon on >you pointer, now insert a disk into your second floppy drive. When the >pointer goes to zz let the left mouse button go, when the zz pointer goes >away that disk icon will stick to your pointer like glue until you click >again [...] Here's one some of us know about: make 2 copies of the empty.info icon on another disk. Make a directory to go with each of those icons. From Workbench, open both directories. Now take the first directory's icon and place it in the second directory's window. Take the second directory's icon and place it in the first directory's window. Close both windows. Now where did that disk space go to? :-/ For added fun, place files in each directory before performing this magic trick! This may be fixed in 2.0.
