No, I don't think I've outgrown "Rock and Roll." I think the "Contemporary Music Industry" has gone to hell, however. What do I think is good stuff? Floyd, Bowie, the Stones, the Beatles, the Kinks, older Supertramp (gee, all Britishy so far..), Parsons, Dead, Doors. What do I find tolerable of new groups? Some of U2, Go-Go's (but I can't take 2 albums in a row), Men at Work. That's MY biggest complaint is the utter S**T that's been coming out in recent years (like "Plasmatics": no talent, just gimick.) I just heard on the radio the other day that "Thriller" has passed "Dark Side of the Moon" in total albums sold. I'm hoping that the fad will pass, and DSM will keep chugging away like it's been for the past 10 years and catch up again. I personally don't hold out any hope for a race that buys "Thriller" and not DSM. (All you PF fans, go out and buy another copy (you know your poster is dead by now..) I plan to...) -- Randwulf (Randy Haskins); Path= genrad!mit-eddie!rh
