Not only could CBM sell a cheaper machine than the Mac >Classic, but it would be much more powerful. It would sell tons! I would like to just make note of the fact that the A500 is already both less expensive and more powerful than the MAC Classic. Putting an Amax board in one would only serve to rub Apple's collective nose in it... come to think of it, that'd be kinda nice.... (evil grin) On a less pleasant note, I just read the Tuesday NYT Science section, and there is an article describing not only how increadible the Classic is, but how it is the most popular computer since the C-64. After all, it is both the cheepest and most upwardly compatible type system available... PHAH!!! I hate uninformed media ALMOST as much as I hate uninformed publics.... -- -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=--=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=--=- Dave Bicking Single Tasking?????
