Does anyone know where I can get KickStart 1.3 for a reasonable price (read "Free")? Is it available from any of the ftp sites? Could someone email it to me? Also, a few questions for the Amiga Hardware Gurus out there.... : I have an Amiga 1000, and use a SupraModem 2400 with it. It works great, except for one thing : when the telephone line relay releases, it often causes my system to crash (sometimes spectaculary...). This is *VERY* in- convenient. Does anyone have any ideas why this occurs, and/or what can be done about it? A friend has a 500 with the SupraModem, and has no trouble. What's going on???? Tougher Question: My Amiga refuses to recognize the ctrl-A-A warm reboot sequence. The caps lock light comes on for a second (like it should), but Ol' Amy keeps on going like nothing happened. It's sort of like shouting "Taxi!" and having the cab driver flash his lights at you, but not stop.... What could cause this, and how do I fix it???? (I sometimes use my modem to reboot. Turning it on/off a few times is usually sufficient to invoke the Great Guru....) Please email all responses/flames/VISA numbers/blank checks/etc. directly to me at schilkek@prism.cs.orst.edu.
