Is there anyone out there who would be able to set up a Mail Echo
on their system? I have been trying to find a Sculpt 3D/4D echo and
after seeing that there isn't one, I am looking to see where one could
be created. Our system doesn't currently have the needed Software to
handle this without serious Human Intervention (Read: I'd have to do
it all by hand)
I think that this could be a great thing, since we could exchange
UUencoded shapes, and (here's the good part) we could all help
each other with rendering jobs! If you wish to help, you just
announce your willingness, and people could get to you with files to
render, and return. 10,000 hour animations could take days instead
of weeks!
Please get back to me if you think this is a good Idea, and/or
if you know of a place willing to support such an echo.
