Is there anybody out there who has, or might be able to get their hands on (seriously now) an 8073 assembler. I am part of a group which is building an arm for the RB5X robot which uses an 8073 as its CPU. I have been assigned the assembly programing for the robot, and we do not have an assembler for the processor, and I'm not looking forward to all of the hand coding I will have to do if I don't get an assembler. If anybody knows anything about the existance of such an assembler, please let me know. I would greatly appreciate it, and it would save me alot of time. You can mail me the response, or reply here. Thanks in advance Peter Williams !decvax!tektronix!reed!peterw

In addition to the information that was in my previous letter, there are some things that I forgot to mention: 1) An 8073 is a stand-alone chip from National Semiconductor and 2) As far as I'm concerned, the manual is just about useless. It's reference sheet for the instruction set is completely unreadable, and the there is only one other place where I can get the opcodes, and it is hard to understand. Anyway, thanks to those who have replied, it just might help. Thanks again, Peter Williams !decvax!tektronix!reed!peterw
