[comp.sys.amiga] Amiga A2286 Bridgeboard FOR SALE

mse@cbnewse.att.com (scott.erickson) (05/13/91)

This is an addendum to an eariler posting. I was using the price sheet from
the Commodore educational discount order form to establish a retail price. This
price has apparently come way down, to the neighborhood of ~$800. Therefore,
I'm adjusting my asking price to $500. Everything else still applies.

Commodore Amiga A2286 bridgeboard. This is an Amiga 2000 expansion card that
give IBM PC-AT compatibility. With this, you can run MS-DOS and virtually ANY
IBM PC-AT compatible software. This is in addition to the Amiga's normal
capabilities. You can switch back and forth between the two systems at will.

	FEATURES

		- 80286, 8MHz clock
		- 1 MB internal RAM
		- PC-AT compatible BIOS
		- 5.25 inch high density 1.2 MB floppy disk drive
		- battery backed up real time clock calendar
		- socket for 80287 math coprocessor

	ALSO INCLUDED

		- all software ( installation, MS-DOS, utilities, etc. )
		- A2286 User Guide
		- MS-DOS User Guide/User Reference
		- GW-BASIC Interpreter User Guide/User Reference

I got this as part of an educational package from Commodore. It was purchased
new in Feb. 90. I haven't used it much, hence the sale. This card has a
retail price of ~$1600. I'll sell it for $800. In addition to straight cash,
I'll also consider a deal which includes some or all of the following equipment:

	- multi-disc CD player
	- portable CD player
	- cassette player/recorder

For any of these to be in the deal, they should be a high quality unit, in
excellent condition, and less than 2 years old. We can work out the shipping
depending on the type of deal that is struck.
