I just received Imagine in the mail and have been working through the tutorials. I seem to have a problem using the SLICE command. I followed the tutorial to the letter. Then threw the tutorial to the side and using the Reference manual and intuition tried to figure out the command philosophy and do it on my own. IRK! No luck. Does the SLICE command really work? Am I "spinning my wheels"? If anyone has gotten the SLICE command to work and can give me some words of wisdom, please do so. I don't get any errors and the CANCEL box comes up like they say it should. Yet, when I UNGROUP the object and try to delete the unwanted objects, the plane hasn't been sliced, the A (refering to tutorial number 2) is broken up into the outline and the inner triangle. Maybe after days of experimentation I'll stumble upon the right sequence to get it to work. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance, Dale "imagine a world where software behaves like you expect it to" Rogers ____________________________________^_______________________________________ __ __ ____ ____ ____________________________________ _______________________________________ dale r. rogers Email: ingr!b24a!camelot!dale Internet: ingr!b24a!camelot!dale@uunet.uu.net .
