If you have any information about algorythms, thechniques, literature, or even software (in any form) related to simple shade black and white ray tracing, Dr. P. Jastreboff of the Departament of Surgery at Yale University, would be very interresting in hearing from you. He is conducting neurological research, and needs a simple ray tracing tool, for identifying shades of chemical brain scans. A very fast tool is required, in order to produce many variations of the same original data, which would eventually be used for publication (this is why color is not suitable, due to cost). The ultimate processor for such a program would be an IBM-PC, however he is willing to examine just about anything, and derrive the method used. If you are involved in similar work, or know if any existing information that could do the job, please contact him at: Dr. P. Jastreboff Departament Of Surgery, Yale University, School Of Medicine, 333 Cedar St. New Haven, CT. 06510 (203) 481-8782 He does not currently have an e-mail address, however I will forward any electronic responses to him personally. Any information at all would be greatly appreciated. -- Mikel Manitius @ AT&T-IS mikel@codas.ATT.COM.UUCP
