It is a very nice set of commands for the PC or Compatible that includes; lpr, finger, ftp, tftp, host, iprint, mail, rcp, rlogin, rexec, rsh, telnet, and many more. It will run with various hardware interfaces on the PC. We used the 3com model 3c500 interface card, one cable, and one EtherNet transciever. The software took 20 minutes to install after reading the manual for about one hour. It worked the first time. The FTP commands are very very nice and fast. File transfer worked at rates that make KERMIT and XMODEM look sick and dying. It supports wild cards for transfer of many files at once. If you have several Unix hosts and a lot of PC's, this is a great way to integrate them. Company: FTP Software Phone: 617-868-4878 Package Name: PC/TCP Price: 400.00 Education: 360.00 Support: Excellent Ease of setup: Very Good. I have no relation to the company other than extremely happy customer. Neal Pollack Chief Engineer Computer Science Department Calif Polytechnic State Univ San Luis Obispo, CA 93407
