[comp.sys.ibm.pc] Looking for clock finder

I am looking for a TURBO pascal routeen that will return the clock
speed of a PC/AT/XT relitive to PC. Use: for a programme that uses
an incrementing counter, therefore it will run too fast on non-PC's.

Unless...there is a way to keep the BIOS call to time from resetting
the keyboard strobe (it clears the function 'keypressed'). (hence the
reason for using the incremental counter)
