OK, I've begun to worry. I know that there are people out there who know how to wedge a COM routine onto interrupts. My question is, is there anyone out there with a canned Turbo Pascal/Pascal/Assembler/ Lattice C/Microsoft C routine that will put a program segment onto the COM interrupt (either COM1 or COM2) so that it will do automatic buffering? I realize there have been a lot of questions about this. I have about 200-300K of information on the subject, but no canned routines. I haven't gotten around to playing with the ports yet,and I'd rather not if I don't have to. If you have any information on COM port buffering in any reasonable language, please email it to me, or (alternatively) post it if email bounces back. If or when I ever get a routine running, it'll get posted for all those who are lost like me. Thanx in advance. -- %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% - Jim Frost * The Madd Hacker - UUCP: ..!harvard!bu-cs!bucsb!madd | ARPANET: madd@bucsb.bu.edu CSNET: madd%bucsb@bu-cs | BITNET: cscc71c@bostonu -------------------------------+---+------------------------------------ "Oh beer, oh beer." -- Me | [=(BEER) <- Bud the Beer (cheers!)
