I'm looking for a good file comparing program for the PC. Does anyone know if the executable or source for something like UNIX diff is available? If not, I'd appreciate any help anyone offers in finding a good program of this type. Thanks! Melvin Chan

DIF and SSED are availavble on Telegodzilla in DOS executables and source.
DIF is suited for gleaning the differences between revisions of a
program. It is limited in the size of the differences it can scan past,
but does not limit the size of the files it can handle. DIF does not detect
the identity of chunks of a file that have been moved a long distance.
SSED applies difference scripts generated by DIF's -e flag.
