I am an experienced programmer who is fairly new to the MSDOS world. Can anyone out there recommend some good books on MSDOS (both introductory and advanced). Please include some reasons why you think they are good. Thanks in advance, Gerald Aden ...!hplabs!sdcrdcf!trwrb!orion!aden

try to get a copy of the book 'advanced ms-dos' by ray duncan. (title may not be exactly right, but it's close.)this book was published this year, by microsoft press i believe. it is an excellant book containing many, many informative examples, most of which include versions coded in both assembler and c! it's by far the best book i've encountered on using the internal/advanced features of ms-dos. max s. robin at&t bell laboratories voice: 201-386-6865 email: whuts!2212msr
