[comp.sys.ibm.pc] Help! DOS file system partition.

Help!
	I purchased an AT compatible system with a seagate ST4051 (40M)
hard disk. The problem is that I don't have the special fdisk program to
partition the disk into 2 logic partitions. I would appreciate if anyone in
the netland could help me with the following questions:
	(1) To locate a special driver for disk more than 32M.
	(2) What is the format of the partition table in the disk?
	(3) What is the organization of the "master boot record" in the
		partition table?
	(4) What is the relationship between partition table and
		"master boot record"?

	       << I intend to write my own fdisk and format programs....>>
	Furthermore, any suggestion for an inexpensive and reliable
memory board for RAM disk.
