I have a Hayes Smartmodem 1200 and was wondering if there any programs out there that will allow automatic redialing. For example you are trying to call a BBS, but it is always busy, or you absolutely need to get a hold of a the U.S. Department of Whatever (guaranteed to be busy). Does anyone know of a program that can redial at user specified intervals and recognize when the phone is picked up at the other end?

There are a number of pd/shareware communications programs available that allow automatic redialing. Procomm is one, Boyan-C1 is another. Just call up your local BBS(s) and look for their communications section. Hope this helped. Robin Smith
