                     an interactive plotting program

GNUPLOT 1.1 has been posted to net.sources. This supersedes version 1.0,
which was posted a few months ago. Briefly, GNUPLOT will plot almost
any combination of functions and/or data on any of the supported terminals.
[The supported PC displays are CGA, EGA, Hercules, ATT 6300, and Corona 325.]

Several additions to the program are included in this new posting as
well as old bug fixes. GNUPLOT was written with portability in mind and
should compile on practically all machines with a good C compiler. [MSC 4.0
was used for the PC version, but we've heard of successful compilations under
Lattice 3.0 and also Aztec.]

For those of you unable to access our net.sources posting, a free copy
of the sources (and PC executable) will be sent to you if you send us
a formatted 360K PC floppy with SASE. Mail to:

We could post the PC executable for those without Microsoft C 4.0, but only
if there's enough demand. It would be a BIG posting, i.e. a couple hundred K.
If you have an opinion, let us know in the next week or so. The above
addresses are always good for getting the latest version; the second will be
a little faster...

Feel free to email any comments, questions, or complaints to vu-vlsi!plot.
Thank you for you support.
