Anyone out there have experience with the UNIX "VI" screen editor for MSDOS??? I've got some Compaq's and have found EDLIN a painful experience. Any info would be helpful, like who makes it, are there any features left out that are in the SysV version, are there size limits, etc. Thnaks in advance! -- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Kenn R. Box 678 Natick, MA 01760 617-653-2555 It costs $149 and says that it is "FULLY COMPATIBLE with the UNIX VI editor". I'll post a followup when I recieve the program --- Jeremy Uejio (uejio@lll-lcc.arpa)

I'll second the recommendation for PC/VI from Custom Software Systems. I've been a satisfied user for some time. Keith M. Taylor Hewlett-Packard Corvallis, Oregon hplabs!hp-pcd!keith
