The GEnie 'Windows Round Table' (anologous to a comp.windows.microsoft- it has several subtopics hung off it) is moderated, and the discussions seem useful. There is an associated library of downloadable files. Microsoft seems to pay close attention; they answer questions posted in GEnie quickly. I'm not developing a Windows application, but this looks like a gold mine. GEnie seems to be a well-kept secret, even from GE. Calling the local number for "General Electric Information Services", I eventually got the GEnie Client Services telephone number (1-800-638-9636); they gave me the following signup procedure: To sign up for GEnie using a 1200 baud modem and a credit card, call 800-638-8369; at the User number: prompt, type XJM11999,genie and it will start the signup process. The procedure at 300 baud is the same, but you must type HHH (cariage return) to get GE's modem to go to 300 baud. - Daniel Kegel
