mrb@psuecla.BITNET (02/08/87)
Due to a special set of circumstances, I need to directly access the clock/ calendar on a multifunction board ... this one is made by an unknown "clone" manufacturer, but I can't believe that it is any different than the AST Six- Pack, or the Quadram Quadboard, etc. I have looked everywhere possible (in documentation which is available to me) for the port addresses, protocol, memory addresses (if memory-mapped IO is used, but I doubt it), etc. Could someone please E-mail me some details on how to get at the time (and date, but mainly the time) from assembler language? Thank you very much for your help. MRB @ PSUECLA ..... Penn State is on BITNET, and a few other gateways work too. I'm sorry I don't know all of them but hopefully your message will get to me. Maybe the header along with this article will prove useful
