According to the DOS 2.10 manual, users can fill the environment space
up to 127 bytes and then beyond if no programs are memory resident. However,
I am finding that we are running out of environment space even though no
programs are memory resident. Taking a rough count of the number of bytes
used for the environment, I come up with about 142 (including both the lengths
of variable names and their values). Has anyone had a similar experience, or
better, a solution? Thanks.
