[comp.sys.ibm.pc] need BSD-style directory routines for MS-DOS

I would like to port the hier(1) and sftw(3) recently posted in
mod.sources to a PC.  They use the BSD-style directory routines.  Does
anyone have a version of these routines for the PC?

I'll be using MS-C 4.00.
