Posting this for a friend... He has a PC clone and is running several applications which read the system clock very offen. The problem he is running into is, that after a random amount of time, the system clock will suddenly start to jump forward at an incredable speed (years go by in a min.). Sometimes after a while (generaly 100-200 years...:) it just as suddenly stops, but offen at a time and date totaly unrelated to the current or starting time. Two other people I know of with different machines and different programs have had the same experience at one time or another. Also, other people are using duplicate copies of the exact same (PD) programs without incountering the problem, so it's not likely to be the programs. Has anyone run into this problem before? Does anyone know the solution??? --- John Stanley (john@viper.UUCP) Software Consultant - DynaSoft Systems UUCP: ...{amdahl,ihnp4,rutgers}!{meccts,dayton}!viper!john
