todd@uhccux.UUCP (03/04/87)

This is a followup to the list I posted a while back on NEC MultiSpeed

WordPerfect 4.2
[an interesting glitch turned up with WP4.2. If you use Aln/Flush
(which right aligns text) and then try to view it with Reveal Codes
(Alt-F3), you will see an endless stream of revealed codes and the
NEC kybd, including Ctrl-Alt-Del, is locked out. I called WP Inc. and
they seemed to think it was a problem with the high CPU speed rather
than a problem with the Phoenix BIOS. I have not found any other
	problem with WP]

Doesn't work

Digitalk Smalltalk V
[Interesting problem with Smalltalk. As soon as you see the initial
screen start to come up, a message of some kind flashes on the screen
then the NEC powers itself off. Not a lot of fun.]
Microsoft Windows 1.03
Microsoft Word 3.0
[psivax!tommie suggested that I switch to slow speed (4.77MHz) before
booting Word and then go to high speed (9.54MHz). Will give it a try
the next time I can borrow Word again]
Norton Commander
