I'm now using a PC from IBM, running PC DOS, with one floppy drive and one hard disk drive. (I guess that makes it an AT. (?)) Anyway, I am desperate to get a 'vi' lookalike for it so I don't have to learn YACE (Yet Another Crappy Editor). Thanks to Mark Horton I now know about Custom Software Systems PC/VI, and the Mortice Kern MKS Toolkit. Are there any others that people know about and can suggest? In particular, I would appreciate knowing about (and poss. receiving sources of) public-domain 'vi' clones, together with your experience with them. *Please* respond by e-mail, as news seems to be almost totally f***ed at my site. Advance in thanks, --Jamie. ...!seismo!ubc-vision!ubc-cs!andrews "I remember that rich windy weather"
