I have recently come across a nifty utility for PC compatibles called JFORMAT. It reformats floppy disks with 10 sectors per track allowing a "360K" disk to store about 400K. It also supports 80 track drives in either 8, 9, or 10 sector formats. The copy I have came from a BBS and is apparently pirated - there are no names in the documentation, but the programs print a copyright notice by Tall Tree Systems. So, my questions are these: 1) Is anyone else familiar with or using JFORMAT? What do you think of it? 2) How do I go about contacting this Tall Tree Systems company or someone who is legitimately distributing this software? 3) Is there any other software that performs a comparable function. If you have any information, please respond to me and I will summarize for the net. Thanks. -- Peter Fales UUCP: ...ihnp4!ihlpl!psfales work: (312) 979-7784 AT&T Information Systems, IW 1Z-243 1100 E. Warrenville Rd., IL 60566
