My WordStar 4.0 upgrade arrived ahead of promised delivery date and it
is a major improvement. However, I am having a problem with printer
handshaking. Under WS 3.3 there was a driver specific for my printer,
Diablo 1640, and that driver with "no protocol" handshaking worked fine
with the printer connected to com1. WS 4.0 has a generic Diablo driver
and handshaking options that are not identified as "no protocol". Using
that driver and simplest handshaking option things 'almost' work, but
there are frequent "overflow" problems, and not always in the same place
in the text. Anyone solved a similar problem?
The documentation that came with the upgrade is excellent, but no where
can I find the MicroPro support phone number. Please e-mail it to me if
you have it.
