I haven't seen any comments on a C interpreter/compiler/debugger/editor package called Instant-C by Rational Systems, Inc. The documentation I've seen looks pretty sharp: It has a good tutorial introduction, along with man-pages, language summary, library descriptions (they provide source for most of their libraries) and limitations. I haven't seen it used to write "real-world" programs, though, and I'd like to hear from people who have used it for non-trivial tasks, especially those that interact with the operating system and peripherals. Send me mail and I'll post a summary of what I receive if there is interest.
