I've had a V-30 in my Deskpro for several months now, and to my knowledge there are no compatibility problems whatsoever. The Sysinfo rating rose from 1.7 to 3.5; does anyone know what this rating means (if anything)? In return, what EGA cards have people tried in Deskpros? I have heard that they will conflict with the Compaq display card. Is there any relatively cheap way to get two simultaneous displays to function, and thereafter, how do you get S/W to work with both of them? Ken Hooper P.S. If anyone is interested in a bald opinion: I think it's great that IBM has come out with the new machines; they've raised the standard in speed, graphics, and are rumored to be raising the standard in operating systems. If the aftermarket reacts true to form, there should soon be much higher quality clones and boards available at realistic prices.
