[comp.sys.ibm.pc] Dos 3.3 behavior on PS/2-30

lotto@wjh12.UUCP (04/17/87)

The following batch file causes DOS3.3 on a PS/2 to hang up,
soft reboot is the only way out (with BREAK=OFF (default)).

foo.bat:
set foo=%foo%xxx
foo
^Z

On command line overflow, the machine locks up.

First glance would tell me that the program would never finish.
You created an endless loop, that will crash on any DOS.
