The following batch file causes DOS3.3 on a PS/2 to hang up, soft reboot is the only way out (with BREAK=OFF (default)). foo.bat: set foo=%foo%xxx foo ^Z On command line overflow, the machine locks up. -- Gerald Lotto - Harvard Chemistry Dept. First glance would tell me that the program would never finish.
You created an endless loop, that will crash on any DOS.
