[comp.sys.ibm.pc] Will a V20 work in a Compaq?

Does any know if a V20 will work in a Compaq portable (the 8088 version)
A friend of mune went to by a V20 for his Compaq and the man at the
V20 store said it wouldn't work with he Compaq's???

Any comments/suggestions/help would be appreciated!!!
